Season 2026–2027

Thirty years
carving paths
through
the snow.

Every day on the slopes is a blank page. I help you write your best runs on it.

Courchevel 1850 Certified Instructor

Laurent Uberto
Private Ski Instructor

Thirty seasons at Courchevel 1850, and I still see the mountain with the eyes of that first day. A graduate of ENSA Chamonix — the birthplace of guide-level skiing — I have worked with thousands of skiers, from children taking their first glides to experts tackling demanding couloirs. Every person is different. Every progression is a story of its own.

I don't work in a mass ski school. I choose direct, personal attention — adapting constantly to each skier. That's what bespoke skiing means: not a standardised service, but a day designed for you, with you.

« The best skiing is the kind you haven't done yet. »

What I offer

Private lessons · tailored · all runs

Private adult lessons

A full day, a half day, or a full week — we adapt the programme to your level, your goals, your pace. Solo or in a pair, on the runs you want to explore.

1 to 2 people

Children's lessons
from age 5

Patience, encouragement, and a genuine sense of play. Children learn fast when they feel confident. I take as long as it takes — no rushing those first glides.

From age 5

Technical improvement

You already ski well — but you sense there's something to unlock. Technique, posture, turns, challenging snow: we work precisely on what will take you to the next level.

Intermediate–expert level

Family

Skiing together is possible — even when levels are very different. I organise sessions that let everyone improve while sharing the mountain. Memories that last.

National Ski Instructor Medal

National Instructor Medal — awarded upon obtaining the State Diploma.
Sports Educator Certificate 1st degree, alpine ski option. Individually numbered.

A distinction
earned on the slopes

The National Instructor Medal is awarded on graduation day, at the end of a programme spanning at least four stages: trainee instructor, aspirant, then qualified instructor. It marks technical and pedagogical excellence — every medal carries a unique number, assigned since the very first graduate.

« Teaching skiing is an art that improves every single day. »
Laurent transformed the way my daughter sees the mountains. After two days with him, she was asking to go back the very next morning.
